I besides created a Local User, just the binder that shows up in the File Explorer is email_000 (where email is the offset five letters of my e-mail address). This is the user name assigned to my business relationship.
How do I change this to my name? If I try to create another local user, I receive the message that the user name is already in use (but sadly the binder doesn't reflect that!)
The MS AnswerDesk told me that this is how information technology was designed to work. Can we request a design change?

How exercise I change the user name. Such as seen in the File&Path (Users\Jena\Documents) I got a computer that someone else set up so returned it to the shop. How do I change Jena to Gerry?

Truthfully, in your instance GerryS914, I highly advise post-obit whatever instructions the computer manufacturer (not Microsoft necessarily) provided to return the system to Mill DEFAULTS... Then y'all tin can set it upwardly without fear of what the previous short-term owner put on there (and is getting in terms of your data mayhap)...
